G-NIE ARAMBULO

Award-winning photographer G-nie Arambulo started her career as an art director for a local agency before joining Adphoto. Now one of the top advertising photographers in the Philippines, she is known for her technical mastery of lighting and creative vision.

Since 2002, G-nie has been the only Filipino member of the Master Photographers Association (MPA), a British organization of the world’s elite photographers with membership by a demanding nomination process of industry peers. KATHY CHUA

Bringing new blood to Adphoto, both literally and figuratively, Kathy has specialized in sports and travel photography with a rapidly expanding industrial and photo-documentary portfolio.

In the relatively short span of her photographic career, she has already found herself on assignment in a surprising number of shoot locations, from a natural gas platform in the South China Sea and a wild animal park in South Africa, to some of the furthest-flung and most rugged corners of the archipelago, sometimes in extreme shooting conditions.

Her photographs of a wide range of subjects have been used with growing frequency in various newspapers and magazines around Asia, and in books such as Berlitz's Insight Guide to the Philippines and the cover photograph of Power from the Deep coffee table collection.

Her complementary experience in the studio, with specialties in product shot composition and portraits, has resulted in an impressive and diverse portfolio, which has helped Adphoto's stock photo archives. She is also a Ford Foundation Grant Awardee for her work on Portraits of Philippine Wildlife.

She has photographed for international environmental organizations in Asia, Europe and Africa, and co-founded MyZoo Volunteer Group Foundation, a local wildlife and nature preservation group in Manila.
